Composition

When creating compositions that include logos and other brand elements, follow a few essential

rules. One of the most critical rules is to avoid using the same element more than once, whether

it’s a logo symbol, brand name, or any other visual element. 

When using a symbol and wordmark,

it's crucial to keep them separate.

If you use a graphic element, make

sure to only use the wordmark logo.

A logo with a symbol cannot be used

in the same composition with the

graphic element in action.

Avoid using the logo with its symbol or

stand-alone symbol when using the

graphic element.

When the word ATHENA appears in

the headline, only a symbol can be

used in the design.

Do not use official, main, or wordmark

logos when using the word ATHENA in

the copy.

Minimum Size

The minimum size of the logotype is determined by height. The logo can be smaller, but it’s

essential to keep good readability & recognition.

Exclusion Zone

To protect the strength & integrity of

3D Logo Symbol

ATHENA has designed a 3D printable logo symbol to enhance brand recognition at events and

photoshoots. The file can be downloaded from the MS Team cloud drive.

The symbol is used as a logo when

there is no star graphic element in a

composition or when the headline

features the brand’s name.

The official logo should only be used

in official documents or when it

appears among other logos.

2. Main Logotype

The main logo is used in all

communication and information media

as a primary brand element.

3. Wordmark

Wordmark can only be used when the

headline doesn’t contain the word

ATHENA and when the star symbol is

used as a graphic element in the

background.

ATHENA’s brand hero is a minimalistic and modern star. It is used as a logo symbol and as a

graphic element in the brand identity. It stands for the student-centred education model and

represents an alliance formed by multiple partner universities. 

A logo is a primary tool for brand recognition. ATHENA’s logotype consists of a modern star symbol

and a wordmark. They can be used separately for situations or needs.
